Location evaluation
As a first step you must make your location assessment. You can check available dates at:
https://umg.edu.gt/en/admissions
(The Placement Evaluation only applies to Central Campus, except for the School of Dentistry and the School of Health and Medical Sciences).
To pay the location assessment fee, you can:
- Pay from a bank agency by generating the payment DIRE at: https://uvirtual.umg.edu.gt/formularios/ubicacion/
- Pay by credit/debit card, look under payment type for the location assessment section: https://umg.edu.gt/pagos
Then enter your data in the following link: https://forms.gle/tBNtEbA5SAtFj4bv9
It is necessary that you send via e-mail to: [email protected] the following:
- Photograph of your payment slip.
- Photograph of your DPI or school ID in case you are an underage student.
You will receive an email with the confirmation of the date and time of the evaluation, as well as the methodology we will use.
Enrollment process
You can register in the following ways:
First, you must generate your ID number
Complete the disclaimer and generate your ID number at: https://umg.edu.gt/nuevosestudiantes/
Registration payment:
Bank agency
Download your DIRE payment using your newly generated ID number at: https://uvirtual.umg.edu.gt/formularios/dire/
Complete the DIRE form, and you will be able to present it at any agency of: BI, BAM or G&T.
Online Banking
You can make the enrollment payment from the online payment service with the following banks of the system through their digital platforms, using your recently generated ID number: BI, BAM, G&T.
In the services payment section, look for Universidad Mariano Gálvez de Guatemala, complete the form and select the item corresponding to enrollment.
Credit or Debit Card
Go to: https://uvirtual.umg.edu.gt/pagos/
Complete the requested fields using your newly created card number.
Under "Type of Payment" the item for Registration is: 010.
Click on the "Generate Payment Slip" button.
Credit or Debit Card information will be requested to generate the payment.
A PDF document will be generated which will be the proof of registration.
Course assignment
Login and complete the form:
https://apps.umg.edu.gt/inscripciones
"Semester/Trimester" Refers to the Academic Cycle of the current year.
- For Undergraduate 1 or 2.
- Postgraduate can be up to 4.
"Payment Document Number" refers to the Payment Form number, if your payment was online, the number identified will be: "UMG Reference".
Select the courses and schedules of your interest according to the academic cycle to which they correspond.
At the end, a PDF document will be generated that you can save or print, and it will also be automatically sent to the e-mail address you have registered before completing the process.
Reinstatement
You can register in the following ways:
Bank Agency
Download your DIRE payment form using your newly generated ID number at: https://uvirtual.umg.edu.gt/formularios/dire/
Complete the DIRE form, and you will be able to present it at any agency of: BI, BAM or G&T.
Online Banking

Relocation
Login to the MiUMG platform: https://apps.umg.edu.gt.
- Then select the option "Gestiones" and then "Cambio de Carrera, Sede y/o Jornada".
- Select the option "Generate Form 415" and complete the form.
- After completing the form, download and print it.
Submit the form at any bank agency of: BI, BAM or G&T.
To complete the process, you must log in again to My UMG.
- Then select the option: "Procedures" and then "Change of Career, Venue and/or Workday".
- Select the option "Register change and download certificate" and complete the form.
